Whats been going on lately

Well we are nearing Thanksgiving and we have lots going on.
The students are diving into the Holiday Play and practicing their lines. We are excited to see how that turns out! Don't forget costumes are due December 1st.
In Social Studies we are leading up to the Revolutionary War with one of my favorite projects "Steps to War". We have many fun activities planned as we learn more and more about our Nation's history!
We are finishing up reading groups as we wrap up our novel studies. It has been fun working with students in other classes. We hope the kids have enjoyed it as much as we have.
In Math, we have started our Geometry Unit and are looking forward to studying the different concepts in exciting ways. We are going to incorporate new technologies, hands on activities, and dig into each child's creativity with this unit!
