When a great white shark is born it immediately swims away from its mother and cares for itself. Many baby sharks do not survive there first year in the sea because they can be eaten by other animals bigger then them including other Great White Sharks. When the shark is born it is usually around 5 feet and as it grows it can triple its size. When the sharks attack they use the element of surprise. When a seal is swimming on the top of the water the great white attacks it from below. After eating a big enough meal the shark can last months without food. Great White Sharks are not a threat to humans; they attack rarely and usually only attack miss seeing the humans as seals lying on there back. Great White Sharks are apart of the environment, and are spectacular creatures!
