Beavers

Diet=Tree bark and soft tissue that grows under tree bark. They are mainly herbivores.
Habitat=Beavers live near rivers, streams, ponds, and marshes. They build lodges of sticks and mud.
Range=they can be found through North America except most of Canada, Florida southwest desert and Mexico.
Size=Adults can be up to 4 feet long, and over 60 pounds.
Behavior=they live in groups and colonies. They can have good and bad impact. Beaver dams can cause problems by blocking the rivers flow.
Fun facts=Water is music to beavers ears. Really bad music.
