World War II

World War ll, or the Second World War,was a war that lasted from 1939 to 1945, which involved most of the worlds nations , including all of the most powerfull regions: organised into two opposing military alliances; the Allies, or "The Big Three", witch were the British Empire, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the United States of America, other Alies included China, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Ethopia, Greece, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zeland, Norway, the Philipinne Commonwealth, Poland, the Union of South Africa, and Yugoslavia. And the Axis, the three major Axis powers were Germany, Japan, and Italy. Other Axis allies were Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. The war was the most widespread war in history, with more than 100 million military personnel deaths. Significant events involving the mass death of civilians, including the Holocaust and the use of nuclear weapons in warfare. It was the deadliest conflict in human history, over 50 million to 70 million fatalties.
